We have a new Clarinet player in the house!! Woohoo!! Jonah decided to be in Band this year and we are so excited! I was kind of surprised when he chose the Clarinet, but then I realized it was because several of his friends play that instrument. It makes me laugh--there's a whole boy gang of 6th grade clarinet players! Lol! Jack always begs to play Jonah's clarinet when he practices, so we gave him a recorder flute. (Yea?!) I didn't think it was possible, but the noise level just went up at our house! We are so proud of Jonah for trying something new! This is a first in our family--neither of his sisters ever tried Band. I can't wait for his first Band concert!
Jack was pouting right here because he couldn't play Jonah's clarinet.
So out came the recorder flute!
I am amazed at how quickly Jonah is learning to play his clarinet! It just took him a few weeks to learn Hot Cross Buns
