She's Off to Cincinatti

Mackenzie went with EFBC to Cincinnatti, Ohio for a mission trip during the last week of July. Our family is always so faithful to help support our kids when it comes to things like this. Uncle John gave Mackenzie $1,000 to help pay for this (wow!) and the other church activities the kids had this summer. GMa, Poppa & Louise, Grandma Baldwin, and Aunt Barbara and Uncle Alan all helped as well. So very thankful! This trip was long time coming...they were supposed to go last summer, but it was cancelled at the last minute because of covid.
It sounds like Mackenzie had a great time & got to do a lot of ministry work in Ohio. We are thankful for experiences like this, that we know are shaping her into the young lady God has created her to be!
My post the day she left was this:
"Sent our girl off on an airplane today, for the first time ever without us. One parent telling her to run into the battle, be bold, and do hard things. The other saying be careful, be smart, don't do crazy things, call me a lot. I'll let you guess who said what...hahaha! Praying it's a great week for our EFBC mission team!"
These are the pics Mackenzie took throughout the week. I know she had fun hanging out with Natalie and David. I think this trip also helped her to realize that she really just wanted to be friends with David, and nothing more.
They got to visit the Ark on their fun day.
