On the Friday before Spring Break, Madison's class went to the OK Territorial Museum in Guthrie. We were actually leaving that day for our vacation, so I drove Madison to the field trip so we could leave a little early. We got to be there for the morning activities and lunch at Pizza Hut, but we skipped out after lunch so we could get on the road. This was my first time at this museum & it was a very neat experience. The kids got to make a little book like they would have in old days, using different mediums like an ink press and oil paints. We didn't get to spend much time exploring the exhibits, but maybe we can go back sometime. It was a fun morning with my girl!
I helped with the oil painting & thankfully managed to not ruin my clothes!
These silly kids!
Pizza is always a good way to end a field trip & kick off Spring Break! Now...on to our adventures!
