Mackenzie has had a lot going on at school lately! She had an artist project and an inventor project due around the same time. The artist she studied is Ron DiCianni, and her inventor was Leonardo DaVinci. Brian and I tag-teamed these projects...I helped with the artist and Brian helped her with the inventor diorama project. She made Leonardo DaVinci out of play-doh and I was amazed at her creativity! It's so much fun to watch her grow and learn. Her semester project will be here before we know it too...I'm going to be all "projected" out! I've noticed that Mackenzie's homework is getting harder and taking longer, but she works hard and is learning so much!
My patience was put to the test when she was insistent on typing out the whole report by herself....one. key. at. a. time. =0)

I love this so much!!
Daddy helped by printing out pictures of Leonardo's drawings, and making a flying machine and tank. Mackenzie also had to give an oral presentation over this, which she prepared for in class. Mrs. English sent me these pictures of her giving her presentation.
I especially love the beard and the paint splotches!
I always wish I could be a fly on the wall for things like this! Love that Mrs. English took the time and effort to send a few pics!
