It's always good to have a party or something at my house, because it motivates me to get things done! I was getting ready to hostess Connie's baby shower at the end of May, so we (Brian) painted the kitchen, hung a new light fixture in the entryway, hung curtains in the kitchen and our bedroom, got the playroom cleaned up & reorganized, and put up several new pictures and decorations. I love our home and I am truly thankful every day that God has blessed us with it!

I love the photo mats we took to Disney World! Totally worth the hassle of carrying them around everywhere.
I was so proud of myself for hanging this curtain rod & wrapping the fabric to make a pretty curtain. I borrowed several things from my moms house before the shower.
The birds pictures my mom painted look so cute in my kitchen!
