Today was Pajama Day for Jonah at ELP! He was looking good in his ninja turtle pj's & Nike's and of course Mickey went along for the fun! Trying to get him to stand still long enough for a good picture was definitely a trick. Every time I don't think he could get any cuter...well, he does! He's too cute for his own good, I think!
Since the girls were out of school on Monday for MLK day, we had a play date with the Hopper's. We are so, so thankful for this sweet family God brought into our lives. The girls had so much fun doing a nativity scene play, complete with Fluffy the "sheep." I couldn't get over the sheep-dog...so funny! I left the girls to swim in their heated pool for the afternoon, and Jonah and I went home and took a nap! Yea for swimming in January & taking naps! A major blessing on this day was that we were able to talk about school next year & once again, the Hopper's are blessing us HUGELY by taking care of that for us. PRAISE GOD!!

I was looking through some old pic's and found these of the girls during their first year of ELP together! They were babies & two peas in a pod even then!
Mackenzie and Emily were in PreKA together when they were 4 years old. Again...babies!

Here are some pictures from Mackenzie's last few games in January. This season went by so fast! I don't think we ever even came close to winning a game, but all of the girls had fun and learned a lot. Mackenzie's favorite part may have been cheering for her team from the sidelines! I will be anxious to see if she wants to play basketball again next year. I hope she does! She has gotten so much better at shooting the ball this year, and she is very determined to stay with her girl on defense! She's still a little afraid of the ball and sometimes gets confused when switching from offense to defense. We are so proud of her and how well she has done!

We went to the Regent Varsity basketball game Friday night, for the Grammar school basketball recognition at halftime. G-Ma came up for the weekend and met us at the game, so that made it even more exciting! It was so cute to watch Mackenzie & her friends walk out onto the court! I'm so glad we chose to play basketball at Regent this year. Mackenzie has had a great time with her friends. I don't know if basketball will be her thing when she gets older, but as long as she is having fun with it, that's all that matters!
I am so thankful for these sweet girls Mackenzie is friends with! This is one of the things I love the most about being at Regent. We are surrounded by like-minded families, who love Jesus & strive to raise their kids to follow and know Him!
The funniest thing...I gave Madison & Katelyn some money to get something from the concession stand and they both came back with suckers and gave me the change. I gave Mackenzie & Kinley some money and they each came back with two things and a hot chocolate to split, because they didn't have enough $ to both get one. Hilarious!! We had a good laugh over this, because it fit their personalities perfectly! =0) I guess I should have specified what they could get!
