December is just running from one place to another, while constantly decorating cookies and trying to shop for Christmas in between it all! On top of just the busyness of December, we were also dealing with the sadness of leaving our church this year. I pretty much felt like I was just barely keeping my head above water at all times! But there was so much happiness mixed in too...we are so blessed!
This is the face of a happy girl who just finished finals and was officially on Christmas Break!
Totally True.
Naptime at GMa's house!
Because I pretty much smell like sugar cookies all the time anyway....
Watching for his big sisters after school! His favorite time of the day!
Jack loves winking at Poppa! =0) We sent him this video and he loved it of course!
King of falling down fits these days.
Sweet December memories from TEN years ago...wow!
We went to church at Emmaus on our first Sunday to visit somewhere else. It isn't lost on me that Jonah won't want to hold his Momma's hand for very much longer. Soaking it up while I still can.
This girl! We were shopping for dresses for the Christmas program...she loved this super tight dress. It was definitely cute on her, but not for the school Christmas program!
We were invited to the Sears' family Christmas party to help decorate their tree. They let the kids throw ornaments at the tree and that's how they decorate it. I've never seen anything quite like it, but it was fun! Jack had the time of his life! I took cookies for the kids to decorate for dessert.
Kelly sent me these from program practice one day.
We went to McDonald's after school on the day of the Christmas program. We did this same thing when the girls were in 4th grade, instead of driving home and then turning around and coming right back. We got good seats this way!
The floor may be dirty, but this little foot print is just precious!
4th grade Epperly Heights field trip day! We bought hats and gloves for the kids at this elementary school, and took prizes and played Bingo with them, for their Christmas party.
Meanwhile back home...
I get a text from Brian that says "look what our son did to the tv..." What! I thought it was cracked at first, but its just scratched to pieces. Brian isn't even really sure what he scratched it with, but we think maybe it was the end of a flag. As if our TV wasn't bad enough...
Well Check with Dr. Fricker...
Dr. Fricker gave Jack a new car after his flu shot! So nice!
Madi's study guides are impressive! She might go just a little overboard!
Mackenzie had a cheer Christmas party one day, and then practice afterwards. They were busy practicing for Nationals that was coming up right after Christmas break.
The girls went to Volcano with Shelby and Lindy on the last day before the break and I picked them up there a little later. I can't remember now why I didn't just go with them, but for some reason I couldn't.
Last minute shopping reminder:
Before going to Chickasha to look at lights, we ate dinner at Cracker Barrel. Jack loved this golf tee game.
Daddy took Jack to get a haircut...his first "big boy" cut with the clippers! So cute!
No clue, but duck lips...
Des and Jeff came over one evening to visit with us, after the Sunday that our class talked about us leaving EFBC and why...Jack was extremely rev'd up and kept saying "Yeah Boy!" I have no idea where he learned that, but it was hilarious!
