We started our third day in NYC by taking the Staten Island ferry to see the Statue of Liberty. We decided not to actually go out to island, mainly because of time. There were just too many other things we wanted to fit into our day. Then we went to Wall Street and Trinity Church, before going to the 9/11 Memorial & Museum. We went back and forth about taking the girls through the museum, but eventually decided it is just such a monumental piece of our history that they needed to learn about it. After spending a little over an hour there, we headed to Little Italy and Chinatown, where we ate lunch at an authentic Chinese Restaurant. It was called the Golden Unicorn and I think this was one of my favorite parts of our whole trip. Not because the food was that great, but because we laughed so hard at Brian "speaking" Chinese to our waiter. The girls' reaction was priceless and I really haven't laughed so hard in a very long time! After lunch we walked to the Brooklyn Bridge.We didn't have much time, so we didn't actually walk all the way across it (yea!), just far enough to take some pics. Finally, we made our way back to our hotel to get ready for the Yankees game. This was another 23,000+ step day, and we were feeling it! It was a great day exploring NYC with our girls though!

We missed our boys, but were thankful we weren't chasing a 2 year old around NYC!

This was the only place in NYC that we encountered not being able to enter without covid vaccination records. So weird how the protocols are different, all over the place.

This lady lived on the sidewalk close to our hotel. Very sad.
Back onto the subway to get back to our hotel...we seemed to ride the subway a lot this time!
