Archery & Mosaics

There were so many fun activities happening at the YMCA...we did archery and arts & crafts while we were there. Mackenzie was especially excited about doing archery! We basically made Madi do it, and she ended up being very good at it and loved it. We tried to talk Jonah into it, but he just wasn't interested. There was a whole building for arts & crafts and you could pick anything from tie-dye, to mosaics, to pottery, to painting. The kids decided to do mosaic tile projects and they turned out so good! Madi did a little photo box, Jonah did a picture frame, and Mackenzie did a serving tray. Mack's was pretty big and turned into a two-day project, but it turned out so pretty!

Brian and I took turns chasing Jack around during archery, and making sure he didn't get hit by any arrows! He. Never. Stops. Moving.

There were constantly activities happening...the perfect place for entertaining kids! Some of these cost money and some were included with the stay. I think archery was $10 for an hour, and you paid different prices for whatever art projects you did. It was very reasonable though.

Madi was not feeling good at all during this...I think she had a bit of altitude sickness mixed with motion sickness.

So creative how she made it look like a beach and the ocean!

This was back in our room. We had a Queen size bed for me and Brian & two sets of bunk beds for the kids. The perfect set-up for us! The room didn't have air conditioning, which I was worried about, but it wasn't an issue at all. Naptime!
