So we were planning to drive from Estes Park to Colorado Springs to take the kids to the North Pole amusement park for a day on our way home. We loaded up early Friday morning & all was going according to plan until Jack threw up EVERYWHERE in the van. It was bad, very bad. There was no way we could drive anywhere without thoroughly cleaning his carseat and the seat/floor of the van. So we found the closest laundromat & went to work. It was a stressful situation, and not at all how we wanted the day to go. Jack was the main reason we were going to the North Pole place, because there are a lot of little kid rides there. Since he wasn't feeling well, and I wasn't sure if he had a stomach bug or just got car sick, we decided to go ahead and just go home. I was sad about this, but in the long run it ended up being the best decision. It gave us an extra day at home before school started, which we really needed anyway. Thankfully Jack never threw up again & we made it home safely that evening.
Woody was right in the line of fire, so he had got a good cleaning too. He sunbathed on the hood of the van while we did a load of laundry & cleaned the van.
We kept a throw up bag close by the rest of the drive...thankfully Jack just used it to put his feet in!
