We flew into Calgary, Canada on Thursday, August 1st. This was my first time to ever be in Canada, other than when we were in Canadian waters during our whale watch from Friday Harbor in Seattle. After a busy summer, we were excited to spend a few day together, even if it was on a GoStudents trip. =0) Brian normally would've had this week off, after camp, but it didn't work out that way this summer. We did get to spend a few days at home with the kids before we left, so that was good. They were excited to spend time at G-Ma's and she's way more fun than we are anyway! I'm very grateful that I get to travel with Brian on some of the trips he goes on.
It was late when we got there, but it was still so bright outside.
