VBS: Journey Off The Map

We had a great week at VBS at STBC! I helped in Preschool Crafts again this year. I thought about helping somewhere else, but it was Madison's last year to be in there, so I didn't want to miss it! The highlight of Preschool crafts for me was painting the feet of 70+ Preschool & Kindergarteners. =0) Well okay, maybe not the highlight, but definitely one of the most memorable parts!
Jonah got to go into the Chapel for Worship Rally each day and I know he loved it, because we put the VBS music on at bedtime every night and he sings right along! It is the cutest thing ever! The motto for VBS this year was "This is the way...walk in it!"
I picked up the kids at 11:45 and we would change into swimsuits and race to swim lessons! By the time we got home each day around 2:00, we were all ready to rest. G-Ma came up on Tuesday evening and spent the week with us. Madison loved coming into Crafts and getting to be with me & G-Ma!
Family night was on Thursday evening and Madison was asked to get up on stage and help Ms. Lorie do motions to the Preschool songs. We were SO proud of her & loved watching her be so confident and sure of herself! Mackenzie was excited to hold the Bible for the pledges, just like she got to do at G-Ma's VBS. After the program, we had hot dogs and snow cones, and the kids played for a little while in the gym & on the bikes outside.
By the end of VBS, we had been going non-stop for 4 solid weeks and we were all exhausted and looking forward to a calmer month of July.
Stinkin' cute!
This was the Bible verse for the week. Isaiah 30:21
Madison did not want Jonah in the picture with her! LOL!
Much happier now...
Barbara Tuttle does an amazing job of planning crafts for the Preschoolers!

We took the Easterwoods to swim lessons with us each day.
Family Night:
Madison did so good!!
