So the end of August and the month of September were pretty wrapped up in unpacking and house decorating for me. I had a lot of fun shopping for new things for the house! The list of things I want to buy is never ending, but the money isn't! I have quit pointing out the new things that I get each day when Brian comes home from work. Most of the time he notices them anyway! The people at Hobby Lobby and Kirkland's should know me by name! I absolutely love our beautiful home...what a tremendous blessing it is! At some point I will quit taking pictures of it, but for now...I can't help it!
One of my favorite parts of my kitchen is the cabinet with glass doors that I can display my Grandma Jean's china dishes in. I have had these for quite a while but haven't had a place for them. She would love it that I have them out! The middle shelf has one of her teapots, her recipe card box, G.G.'s dinner bell and timer, and a flower pot painted by my Aunt Barbara. It's just kind of a special keepsake shelf, that I love!
It really didn't feel like my home until I put words on the walls!
It was fun to decorate for Fall in our new house! My mom has helped us with so many things, I could never list them all. She basically bought everything we needed to decorate our front bathroom. I don't know what I would do without her!
This just makes me happy!
Our bedroom is very calming and pretty! One of my favorite things in there is the chair cushion that we recovered.
I LOVE this lamp!!!
Our master bathroom is awesome! I had no clue how much I would love having separate sink areas, separate closets, and double shower heads! We chose well on our upgrades for the bathroom for sure!
I have so much more wall space in this house to hang pictures! It was actually one of the things I loved about this floor plan.
