Madison's "Frozen" Family Party

Celebrating birthdays is always a fun and exciting time! There is just something extra special about a child's 5th birthday. It's like they are entering into the world of being a "big kid." It is so very bittersweet to me! I cannot believe this sweet little girl has been part of our family for 5 years already! We celebrated her birthday at our house with our family on Sunday afternoon. The thought that this was our last birthday party in our house made me very sad, but I tried not to think too much about it! Like every other little girl under the age of 10, Madison is crazy about Frozen and there was no other option for her birthday party theme! It was pretty special that she actually had a picture of herself with Anna & Elsa (from our Disney trip) for her party invitation. I had quite the time finding party supplies, because everything was out of stock...but, G-Ma came to the rescue and found all kinds of cute things, including a life size Anna and Elsa cut-out, which was a huge hit! Connie made the most awesome cake I have ever seen...she is incredible! We had to give Madi sort of an "IOU" on part of her birthday present. All she has been asking for is the Elsa dress, but it is out of stock in the store and selling for more than $300 on ebay. So, we got her a few other things and promised her the Elsa dress as soon as we can get our hands on one! (I'm on a mission to get that dress!) We have the best family! It means so much that they always come to celebrate our kids birthdays. Here are some pictures from Madi's special day!
Jonah helped me pick up the balloons before the party and he wasn't too sure about it at first!
Ice Cubes, snow balls, snowman arms & noses...so fun!
She LOVES her best buddy!
We always love it when Grandma Shaw gets to come to our parties!
Daddy hurt his ankle yesterday playing volleyball at the church and the girls think it's very fun to play with his crutches.
Jonah was all partied out!
Like always, we had a special prayer asking for God's blessings on Madison's life this coming year and thanking Him for her, before singing happy birthday. I love this tradition and think it's the sweetest, most special part of our celebrations.
The prayer made Madi sleepy!
She got a little shy and embarrassed when everyone sang to her! She stuck close to her Daddy's side!
I love this face!
Present time!
Poppa & Louise got the Anna dress for Madison! She was so excited!
Uncle Jason & Aunt Tomi got Madison a tball helmet for her birthday. They even got her a little sticker that has her name for the back of her helmet!
Uncle Clint & Aunt Abigail got Madison a new t-ball glove! Now she's really ready for t-ball!
Uncle Stephen & Aunt Tamara always pick out the cutest clothes! I'm sure Uncle Stephen works really hard on that!
G-Ma got Madi a new karaoke machine with a microphone to sing along!
I can't wait until we have a bigger house so that our family will fit more comfortably! We have had many wonderful birthday parties in this living room though.
This has become Madison's favorite dress of all time and she asks to wear it nearly every day! Grandma & Grandpa Baldwin got it for her.
Grandma Baldwin made this adorable blanket for Madison! She is amazing!
The Baldwin Men
Jonah was in bad need of a haircut!
Mackenzie seriously cracks me up! Look at that leg!
The second she finished opening presents, she was off changing into her Anna dress! All I can say is...CUTEST. THING. EVER!
And then it was time to model her new favorite dress!

Cutest birthday cards ever!
Mackenzie is such a great sister! She wrote out all of Madison's gifts for her.
