Our trip started out with a day at sea. It was SO nice to sleep in, and wake up to the beautiful blue ocean all around us. Then we went to the sea day brunch in the main dining room, which was the only time on the ship that I just did not like the food at all. (worst chicken and waffles ever) Brian still had his patch on and felt pretty awful too, so it just wasn't the best experience. That's okay though, because the day improved greatly after this...
We made our way out onto the deck where we found a shady couch and chairs to relax on.
Cruise ship + Good book + Good drink + Great company + No kids = Perfection!
(I LOVE you, kids!! I just really enjoyed a few days of solitude! You will understand when you have children of your own someday, I promise!)
We got lunch at the salad station & encountered the rudest old man ever--he did not appreciate that Brian came and got in line with me, after walking around to try and find us a seat while I waited in line, and he was extremely rude about it. I'm not sure how you can be on a cruise ship and act so miserable and unhappy. I actually felt very sorry for him...and for whoever was traveling with him!
And of course we hit the cake station again!
We spent a few hours lounging by the pool and then went back to our room to rest and get ready for dinner. It was a very relaxing afternoon and I loved every minute!
The best part of brunch was the Diet Coke I brought myself.
I was excited to return to our room and see our first towel animal!
This is a good time, right here!
