Mackenzie had an OKBYC concert in Pawhuska on Sunday evening. This was definitely the furthest one we drove to this year. Thankfully most of them were much closer to home. She had to be there around 3:00 to practice, so the rest of us just had to kill time in Pawhuska. That would be great if anything was open in Pawhuska on Sundays! Sadly, all of the Pioneer Woman stuff was closed. Boo! It was a beautiful day outside though, so we took the kids to the park to play for a while. Jack thought he was big stuff, getting to play on the big playground with Jonah! I love these pics so much! I didn't get to take many pics of Mackenzie's concert, because Jack was being a little stinker, and I had to take him out of the room for most of it. It was a good day, but also a long day. I'm so glad she's doing the youth choir thing this year though! This pic above is my new fav...I just wish Mackenzie was in it!

Jack's "Connection Group"
Jack is not a fan of going into the nursery (toddler room) at church. You would think it was the first time I had ever left him...every single week. I am on a rotation to help in the baby room, right next to the room Jack is in. This was my Sunday to be in there, but Jack had such a fit that they just moved me into his room. It was so fun to be in there with him and to watch him play and interact with kids his age. His class is all boys, so he has plenty of friends to play with in his "connection group." At first he kept crying, thinking that I was going to leave, but he eventually settled down and played. He would look over at me occasionally and smile, and I could tell that he was so happy I was in there with him. These pictures of Jack and Asher trying to escape are funny! Partners in crime!
Everybody shared their snacks!
There are all kinds of toys to play with, but they all wanted to crawl under the beds.
EFBC's littlest connection group, right here...

January Misc
January got off to a rough start for us with covid running rampant through our house. Hoping this isn't a sign for what the rest of 2022 is going to be like! Ugh! Anyway, here are some misc pics from January.
I'm FREEZING & it is miserable. I have really never been bothered by the cold, but for some reason this year, it is really getting to me. I think the warm weather we had in December is making this cold weather feel even more frigid.
Lol! They are ready for winter! I think Daddy's hat is just a bit too small though!
Brian is the absolute best! Our dryer broke not once, but twice and he managed to fix it both times. He takes such good care of our family.
All bundled up!
There's the infamous cuckoo clock, in Brian's office, right where it belongs!
I got a new rug for under the kitchen table and I love it!
Instantly takes me back to the Taco Bell on I-240 & Penn.
We would be so lost without Connie!
I guess we were having a slumber party in the living room?! I'm not sure where everyone else was though...
Jonah has really started to love reading more and more. Here he is reading at one of Madi's basketball games. I'm so proud of him!
Mackenzie' had play practice most days after school in January.
So the new Scream movie just came out...I texted my mom to see if she wanted to go. LOL! Her response...
Jack really thinks he's playing the xbox with Jonah!
Yes. All of this.
I took Mack to the dr one day during homecoming week. (That's why she's dressed like this!)
My caption for this pic on FB:
"Anybody want to guess how much we spent on just these drinks today?! $46.60. We may not be eating this week, but at least we'll be hydrated. Whyyy is everything so expensive?!" Someone suggested just drinking water...now there's a thought!
I'm so glad Jonah gets to take the Lord's Supper now that he is saved!
Marvel buddies, off to see the latest movie.
