Kinley's 5th Birthday Party at The Little Gym!

The girls were invited to Kinley Easterwood's 5th Birthday party at The Little Gym. We just love the Easterwood's...they are such great friends! This is a very fun place for a birthday party...Madison especially loved it! We may have to do a party here in the future. Happy Birthday, to sweet Kinley!
Madison's "cool trick" was running around in a circle...3 times around actually! I wish this picture wasn't blurry, but it is still cute. Mackenzie's "cool trick" was a little bear crawl twist thing...I don't know what else to call it!
At first, Mackenzie was very timid on the balance beam...but, she kept doing it and got more and more confident.
I love this look of concentration!
Katelyn has kind of "adopted" Madison as her little friend...I looked over and Madison was sitting right in her lap like this. So cute!

Planting Flowers

We spent a lot of time during April getting ready for our garage sale, that we had at the end of the month. G-Ma spent every weekend at our house helping us. She's the best! On this weekend, we took a break from working on the garage sale & decided to plant flowers instead. I really don't have a green thumb like my mom, so I definitely needed her help! We went and picked out the flowers & she and Brian did all of the hard work planting them. Now we just have to keep them alive...that's the hard part! G-Ma let each of the girls pick out their own flowers & a pot to put them in and then she helped plant them. They put them out by their playhouse in the backyard & are very excited about having their "own" flowers!
This is my little flower girl...she LOVES flowers & is always asking if she can pick one for me!
Daddy is such a great guy...he is a hard worker & will do just about anything to make me happy!
After Madison's nap, she helped G-Ma plant her flowers real quick, before we had to leave for Kinley's birthday party. It was a very busy, fun day!
Love the tongue sticking out!
Okay, so I had to buy them little princess gardening gloves & shovels...yes, it was $12, but look how cute they look in them?!
So proud of their new flowers!
Here are some pictures of the front of our house...I hope these flowers do well...flowers are expensive!

Daddy's Little Dirt Helpers

When we got home from the Zoo field trip, Brian decided to do a little project in the backyard. We had several low spots that needed to be filled in with dirt. So, he got a load of dirt & the girls LOVED "helping" him! And yes, they were in their panties...well, why not?! It was very hot & they were happy that way, so I just let it go. Plus, I was too tired from walking around the zoo all day to do anything about it! =0) I couldn't believe how long this entertained them. By the time we had dinner & gave them baths, they pretty much fell into bed without so much as a peep!

Zoo Field Trip

Mackenzie's ELP class got to go on a field trip to the Zoo & she was SO excited about it! Even though I wasn't feeling great, (this pregnancy has just been fabulous!) I wasn't about to miss out on this fun day. I was planning to just go for an hour or so, but Mackenzie kept begging me to stay, so I ended up staying the entire time & then taking her home from the zoo, instead of going back to the church. It was fun to watch her with her friends, and a little sad to think that they aren't going to be together in school after this year. One of Mackenzie's friends at a camera & was taking pictures of animals, so Mackenzie kept asking if she could take pictures of animals with my phone. We ended up with quite a few pictures that didn't make the cut, but she had fun anyway! She loved the baby goats in the petting zoo area, and the penguins were fun to watch too. Thankfully, it was a beautiful day, but it got HOT...oh, boy...it's going to be a LONG summer for me! We were both exhausted by the time we got home.
The Three Amigos! Mackenzie, Bella & Josie
Silly Monkeys!
Mackenzie has always really liked Aiden! On the way home from the zoo, she said, "Mommy, guess who I'm going to marry someday!" I responded, "Who?" and she said, "Aiden!" with this cute little grin on her face! Then she said, "Isn't he pretty?!" SO funny! She's got good taste...he is very cute! But I did tell her we didn't need to be planning a wedding just yet. =0)
Not long after that, we were having another conversation & I asked Mack why she liked boys...she said, "I like to chase them!" Brian was with us & he just shook his head and said, "This isn't going to be good!" I think we have a little boy-crazy girl on our hands.
Ms. Anne has been such a wonderful teacher this year!
Ms. Janis's favorite...giraffes!
Here are some of Mackenzie's pictures:
The last thing we did was ride the train back to the zoo entrance. (I was GLAD we didn't have to walk all the way back!)
Fun times with my sweet girl!
