Such Sweet Big Sisters

Here are some cute pic's of Jonah with his big sisters. I think the bigger he gets, the more they like him! He's getting more fun now that he actually smiles at them and he's not so fragile. He is big enough now that I have even let Mackenzie carry him from one room to another...but I'm always right there with her. He's a heavy little guy, and by the time she is nearing her destination with him, she is almost running to keep from dropping him. I know it sounds awful, but it really is funny and I would never let her hurt him. He thinks its a blast! She knows she is only allowed to do it when I am right there with her.
This was one of those melt your heart moments...Mackenzie was sitting in the floor, holding Jonah's hand, while doing her homework. Just precious!
Here are some videos of the girls playing and singing to Jonah. So sweet!
Who needs baby dolls to play with, when you have a real live baby doll?! Jonah has never had a bottle, so I'm sure he was wondering what in the world that hard plastic thing was that she was shoving in his mouth!
"Uh, Momma...is this okay?"
I was taking Jonah's picture with two of his favorite toys, and Mackenzie jumped right in there with him...which was fine with me, but I just thought it was funny. I can't be leaving her out of pictures, now can I?!
...and a pretend sleeping pose.
Madi spotted the little CARS books in the closet and wanted to get them out to read them to brother. He kept wanting to put one in his mouth, which just really bothered her! It was so sweet of her to sit and show him the pictures.
They love each other!
"Open up the garage, here comes the car!"
They sat cuddled up like this and watched a show in G-Ma's bedroom. It was so sweet...he was perfectly content sitting there with his big sister, all cozy and warm.
In fact, it made him a little sleepy!
They were both very into whatever it was they were watching!
People ask all of the time how the girls like their baby brother...my response has always been, "Well, they like him but they are busy doing their own thing and don't pay that much attention to him most of the time." I think here lately that is changing though. Especially for Mackenzie. Madison is still pretty busy taking care of her own baby, Pony. It has been decided that Pony is an actual member of our family. The littlest member, in fact!

Roll, Baby, Roll!!!

Jonah finally figured out how to roll over...kind of! He keeps getting stuck with that arm underneath him, but he is so close to figuring it out. This was a fun night...the girls were asleep and Brian and I were just sitting in the floor playing with Jonah. It's not often that he gets special attention with both of us all to himself.
Daddy was giving him rolling lessons!
"Now what?!"

Super Bowl Sunday

We went to the church Sunday night to watch the Super Bowl. (I still don't even know who was playing, or who won.) I was very glad that our friends, the Mounger's were there. Savanah and Madison are the same age, and Chandler and Jonah are 3 months apart. I kept trying to take a picture of them together, but they were much too interested in each other to look at the camera! We stayed until halftime and then headed home.
This one cracks me up...it's like Jonah thinks Chandler is funny, and Chandler is thinking, "What are you laughing at?"
Cute girls!
I changed Jonah into his football onesie for the occasion.
I turned the camera around so he could see it and this is what he did...

The Missing Tooth

Mackenzie lost her 2nd tooth...and I mean LOST it! I'm pretty sure she actually ATE it! I had been trying to convince her to let me pull it for a few days, but she wouldn't have it. Then, on Saturday the girls were out jumping on the trampoline and eating bananas with Taylor and I guess it came out and she never knew it. It saved us the trauma of having to pull it out and deal with a little bit of blood! I'm just glad it wasn't her first one...I would have been sad about not getting to keep it. Mackenzie wrote 4 notes to the Tooth Fairy, just to make sure she understood what happened to her tooth. =0) We have been honest with her about the tooth fairy, but we still have fun with it! The tooth fairy came through for her, even though she didn't have a tooth to put under her pillow, and left a word search puzzle book, markers & two $1 gold coins. That's one nice tooth fairy!
The funniest part of this story happened the next morning...we had jokingly told Mackenzie that her tooth might come out "the other end." Well, the next morning she went pee-pee in the bathroom and very excitedly said to G-Ma, "I think my tooth just came out!" LOL!!!
Translation:
To the Tooth Fairy,
I lost a tooth. I don't know where it went. Love Mackenzie
I love losing teeth. Our family is so happy.
I hope I get a present. I love to lose teeth.
A tooth can wiggle. You can leave it under your pillow.
