June Misc

This was a different kind of summer than we have ever had, for sure. Being in youth ministry, we have always gone 100 mph in the summers...now we find ourselves at home most of the time, and I kind of love & hate it. I will tell you for sure that our electric bill is going to be probably triple what we are used to...ick! Here are some snapshots of what June looked like for us. Starting with...
Lego's Every.Where.
Lots of driving practice with Madi! Scariest part of parenting to date, by far.
We watched a lot of OKC Thunder basketball this summer!
Daddy is going to make a coffee drinker out of Jack!
True for me every summer!
LOL! Just a little reenactment! Same sweet baby boy, just a few years later!
Love the new grey cheer uniforms for this year! Can't believe she'll be a Junior!
Vanilla Iced Coffee lover!
Instead of driving a golf cart around, getting icees, we took neighborhood drives to Braums for ice cream!
Brian just bursts into song all the time, without ever thinking about who might be standing around hearing him. Example:
Wednesday night swim party at the Thompsons' neighborhood pool. This was right after Jack's first Tball practice, so he was happy to cool off in the pool!
I wonder how many games of Clue we played this summer! A lot...
Jack spent about a week, during GMa's VBS, not feeling very good. He had some tummy troubles going on. Poor buddy!
Silly boy! (I really don't understand why the word "poop" is so entertaining...)
Happy Birthday, Grandma Louise!
Madi went to Falls Creek with Eastpoint Baptist week 3.
Madi loves to bake...but look at the mess she makes! Every. Single. Time.
The boy loves dressing up in costumes like this!
Jonah has been talking about maybe playing football next year, so we made him go to football camp at CHA...I think it took all of one day of that to make him realize he doesn't want to play football. Lol! I can't say that I'm sad about it! He's going to do XC instead, which will be a much better fit for him!
Just playing a little Go Fish in the car while we waited for brother to finish football camp.
Jonah was invited to Asher's birthday party at Frontier City! Looks like they had a blast!
Madi decided to go back to brown...girl can't make up her mind! She's so beautiful, no matter what color her hair is!
Getting ready for a new season of cheer!
Sweet little shoulders!
Get it, Jack! Lol!
Another thing that took up a lot of my time in June was working on Shiloh's yearbook...I spent a lot of time on it, but I love how it turned out!
