Whoop, whoop!! Mackenzie has a car to drive!! This is a huge blessing and answer to prayer for us! GMa got this old Lexus from Leslie a few years back when she was in between cars, and she is letting us have it. It's definitely old (2001) and has a lot of miles (over 200,000) but its a Lexus and very good quality. It still has some life left in it! GMa took it to a mechanic and had some work done on it, and we feel like it is safe and ready to go. Mackenzie is very, very excited about it! Of course we would love to be able to buy her a newer, nicer car, but it just isn't possible right now. One of these days hopefully!
Now she just needs to get her license! =0) She has an appt to take the test in a few weeks. Man, it is so bittersweet watching your kids grow up. I am excited for her, and terrified for her at the same time.
