We are one month into the school year and Madi is already melting down and begging for us to let her homeschool. She is really having a hard time in Geometry, and the work load in High School is definitely heavier. Having cheer practice every day until 5:00 on top of all the school work has just been a bit overwhelming. It makes my heart hurt when she is upset, but I know that homeschooling is not the solution to this problem. She puts a lot of pressure on herself, so we are trying to work on that & establishing realistic expectations.
You can do hard things, Madi Joy! I'm right here by your side.
