The CHA play this year was Robin Hood and Mackenzie was in the ensemble. It wasn't a musical this year, and Mackenzie was sad about that. Little Women was just so amazing last year, that I really don't think anything can ever top it. There were a lot of new people in the play this year, and Mackenzie was disappointed to not get a speaking part. It was definitely a time of stretching for her, which isn't always fun. There were plenty of tears involved. I was very proud of her though, for sticking with it and giving it her all, even though she felt kind of invisible. She wasn't invisible to me--I don't care of she has the biggest part, or the smallest, I love watching her onstage. Brian was still in Israel and was sad to miss Robin Hood.
She's already looking forward to next year, when they will do a musical again! Can't wait to find out what it will be. (Her top pick is Anastasia, and mine would be Mary Poppins, but we'll see!)
