Jonah had a great basketball season and learned so much this year. We just have to convince him to become more aggressive, but that doesn't come naturally to his sweet nature! He loves the game and loves being part of the team though, so that's all that matters. Basketball triggers a lot of anxiety for me...I didn't enjoy the pressure and intensity of playing the game...so I really just want Jonah to have fun. We love watching him play! He shot the ball so much more this season & almost made several baskets. One of these days, that ball is going to go in! Coach Kerbo did an amazing job and taught these boys so much. Gotta say though, after 3 solid months of basketball practice and games every week, I wasn't too sad to see the season come to an end!
3rd & 4th graders
Jonah's faithful fan squad!
These 3 videos are of Jonah taking great shots...they were SO CLOSE to going in! So proud of him for shooting the ball 5 times during this game!
Keeping Jack off the court was a task! He wants to play basketball with his bubba!
There were 3 CHA 3rd & 4th grade teams, so they got to play each other a few times. It was always fun to watch, but highly competitive!
It was very exciting when Mrs. Ferguson came to watch the boys play.
Ring pops helped get Jack through the games!
A little post-game pep talk from Poppa Jim!
I'm SO glad that Poppa gets to watch Jonah play basketball!
