Here is some of Mackenzie's schoolwork from the beginning of the year. Mackenzie is so smart and self sufficient for the most part when it comes to school. I never really worry too much about her grades or how she is doing. We have had a few bumps along the way with her teacher and what she is looking for when she grades, specifically with writing projects. G-Ma (a 7th grade English teacher & now Librarian) has even helped Mackenzie with some things and when we get the papers back, there are many things counted off for, that we cannot understand. We always just encourage Mackenzie to do her best, and forget the rest!

Their big project for the Fall was learning about the Civil War and putting together this "scrapbook."
