It's so hard to believe that we have completed a whole year at OCS! I remember the first day of school like it was yesterday...walking in completely overwhelmed and sad to leave my girls in this new, unfamiliar place where we knew next to no one. It has been a good year...not always easy, but God is good and He has been with us every step of the way. We still miss our old school and our friends there very, very much. But we are so thankful for the new friendships we have made here, and we look forward to what the next year holds as well! My heart is really thankful for new friends--Lori, Ashley, Sarah, Brook--friends who have really reached out and helped us to feel welcome and comfortable! When I asked the girls on the way to school this morning if they were glad today was the last day of school, they both sadly said "No." They are happy here...so I am happy here.
