I have the best Mom ever! She bought tickets for us to see Wicked at the Civic Center in OKC on Tuesday, September 17th. This was my Dad's birthday, so I'm glad we had something special to do together on that day. This was the week that Brian was in Guatemala, so when the girls got out of school on Tuesday, we loaded up and headed for Newcastle. Poppa & Louise kept the kids while we went to Wicked. We had seats with the Pennington's, Shelton's, Christian's, Kendrick's, and Carol Cornett & Connie Strickland, so that was a lot of fun! The production of Wicked was incredible! We were determined to take a picture by this sign, as we had seen so many other people posting pic's on FB with it...but it took us forever to find it! Such a fun night...I think we were told that we look like sister's 3 or 4 times! My Momma is a very pretty lady. =0)
The stage was incredible! I'm pretty sure the mean looking dragon would have scared the girls to pieces!
