We drove to Newcastle on Friday after school and went to the "Great State Fair of Oklahoma" for Disney on Ice with G-Ma! We got there in time to look at the animals, play with some Lego's and eat a corn dog, indian taco, fried Snickers (overrated), and as always we had to have a cinnamon roll to take home with us! This was definitely a non-calorie counting day! G-Ma spoils us with front row seats every year, which is awesome! Other than me nearly getting into a fight with a 70 year old grumpy man, this was probably my favorite Disney on Ice experience ever. (He was hateful and rude to the kids and this Momma bear didn't like it, so I just let him know he didn't have to handle things in that manner.) His attitude improved instantly! Disney on Ice was "Rockin' Ever After" and it featured Rapunzel, Ariel, Belle, and Merida from Brave. It is always so exciting when the characters first come out! Jonah loved the first 3 minutes of the Icecapades...and then that was pretty much it! He squirmed and fussed the rest of the time! When it started though, and Mickey Mouse came out, he was jumping up and down and clapping. So sweet! We got sno-cones in special cups and cotton candy that came with a crown. Being the thrifty mom that I am, we took the light-up spinners that we got last year. Not nearly as fun as getting new ones, but it did save about $40! This is always such a fun tradition that we get to do with G-Ma every year. I think it made us all a little more excited about going to Disney in a few months!
Looking at the baby pigs that were born just 30 minutes earlier. They were hungry little things!
He wasn't happy in the stroller at all, so of course G-Ma rescued him! He liked this MUCH better! =0)

CUTENESS!
They just plopped down by this turkey and waited for me to take their picture...right in the middle of the midway and all of the people trying to get food at the fair! I especially love how Mackenzie is acting like a turkey.

This is about the time the "fight" happened with the old man! He came stomping over and said the kids couldn't sit on the side of the ice rink. Which I understood, but he continued to be hateful to others about it and it just went all over me.
Thank you, G-Ma, for loving us so much, and taking us to Disney on Ice every year!
A little pre-show dancing!
This video is blurry, but still so cute! Jonah was very excited at first!
Last year they got sno-cone cups and they have fought over who gets what cup ever since! So this time I told them to make sure they picked the one they wanted, because that is THEIR cup for the entire year! I think Madison would have picked the blue one, regardless of which princess was on it.
We were so close that the characters would look right at the girls and wave when they came up to the corner of the ice rink. That was also so exciting for the girls when they made eye contact!
Jonah finally gave it up by the time it was over! After wrestling with him during this, I'm a little apprehensive about how he will do at Disney World!
