This is how G-Ma spent most of Thanksgiving morning, cooking in the kitchen with Madison right under her feet! She is very good at multi-tasking!
I have so much to be thankful for this year. God has certainly blessed me! It was wonderful to be able to spend time with both of our families this year. It made for a long day of traveling, but it was worth it! We had lunch in Newcastle, and then headed to Lake Eufaula for dinner. Then, I loaded the girls' back up and we headed back to Newcastle. They are such good little travelers! Brian spent the weekend hunting, and mom and I went shopping, of course! I enjoy shopping after Thanksgiving almost as much as I enjoy Thanksgiving itself! I am so thankful for all of my family! This was our first year without G.G., and she was certainly missed. It was strange not to have taboli and orange salad this year. Even though I don't like either one! Her chicken and dumplin's will be missed as well. I had a great time cooking with my mom. And of course, I ate WAY too much! I am going to have to go on a serious diet after the holidays! Here are some pictures of our Thanksgiving in Newcastle.

Mack slept and slept...finally she woke up in time to see the Rockettes in the parade. G-Ma and Madison became Rockettes too! Mackenzie was still too sleepy to participate in all that craziness!

Next on the Thanksgiving line-up is looking at the sale ads! I am training Mackenzie early! Her Christmas list is about 3 pages long, so we really needed to find some good deals! This pictures really makes me miss Grandma Jean. Every year on Thanksgiving, we would look through the ads together, excited about going shopping the next day. It is something that I will always remember about her, and a tradition that I want to pass along to my children and grandchildren. I am thankful for her influence in my life and the love that she showed me...I am still, and will always be her "darlin.'"
I am so thankful for Mackenzie Grace! Such a beautiful, sweet girl she is. One of the loves of my life! I am honored and blessed to be called her momma! She is growing up far too fast.
My sweet, sweet Madi Joy! I am so thankful that God blessed me with not one, but two beautiful girls! We picked the perfect middle name for Madison, because she does bring such Joy to our lives!
We figured out how to get her to smile for pictures...tickle her!
Madi loves her Pa! I am so thankful that my dad doesn't have cancer this Thanksgiving. The holidays were hard last year. He wasn't feeling very well on this day, but we praise God that he is cancer-free, and pray that his health will continue to improve. 
The girls both love their Uncle Clint, and soon to be "Aunt" Abigail!
Madison is crazy about G-Ma and is starting to fight for her attention! When I try to take her from G-Ma, she says, "Noooo!" and holds on tighter!
While we cooked, Mack sat at the computer and played games. She is a little artist...we looked over and she was drawing this picture of Care Bears freehanded! I couldn't believe how well she did! And yes, she was using a huge black permanent marker...what can I say, we were really busy and just wanted her to be preoccupied, so we let her use whatever she wanted! Glad nothing was destroyed in the process.
Thankful to have Grandma Shaw, Poppa Jim, Jimmy & Sara, Jake, Levi, and Tara with us this year!
Before we ate, Mackenzie dressed in her turkey costume, and sang (very quietly) a few of her Thanksgiving songs. She got very shy, which isn't really like her. I have noticed recently that she is more aware of things, and is becoming a little more reserved. Everyone loved her outfit and her songs! She was our dinner entertainment!
That's one happy turkey!

Mackenzie said the "Tick-Tock" prayer for us before we ate! Daddy snuck the camera out and got a quick picture of it. =0) He loves me!
Mackenzie tried sweet potatoes and liked them! (She did dip the in ketchup, but it still counts!)
