4th grade is off to a great start for Jonah! He is loving Mrs. Ferguson & I think the feeling is mutual.
I was so encouraged by our parent/teacher conference, to hear that he really seems to be gaining confidence in himself this year! I loved hearing that he works hard and is requiring less supervision to stay on task. (And I wasn't too surprised to hear that "blurting out" and disrupting were on his Area of Growth list!)
Here are some fun pics from the first part of 4th grade!
Funniest thing ever! He had to make a paper doll of himself...of COURSE it had to have a red/black plaid jacket! #nailedit
Jonah's classmates wrote these things about him for his birthday celebration at school! "Funny" seems to be a recurring quality his friends notice about Jonah!
Jonah wrote about Poppa Jim and the Murrah bombing, as something significant that has happened in our family. It was very special for him to be able to share this with his class.
Mrs. Ferguson's weekly newsletters are very helpful!
I never could get them to be still for a picture, but I love these even more than a posed shot! I am very thankful that Jonah has great friends!
Jonah is still going strong with Discovery and rhythmic writing. I was observing on this day!
One of the girls in Jonah's class brought two of her stuffed animals to school to have a wedding...she asked Jonah if he would bring cookies to celebrate. I was like....uh, what?! But of course I couldn't let him down, so I made little cookies to celebrate the union of Mr. & Mrs. Sprinkles!
Once again, GMa took us to Disney on Ice at the fair this year. This is one of our favorite traditions! I think this may have been my favorite Disney on Ice ever! Do I say that every year?! I really mean it this time! Jack's reaction to Woody and Buzz was hysterical...literally the best EVER! "To Infiniti...And Beyond!" This little boy has BIG personality! I'm pretty sure he needs to go back to Disney World ASAP!
Best. Video. Ever.
We got there in time to get corn dogs and Indian tacos before it started, of course!
We ran into the Browns before it started!
We decided these were the perfect seats!
It's safe to say Jack LOVED Disney on Ice! His facial expressions are the best ever!
"WOODY!!!! BUZZ!!!!"
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! He was starstruck!!
GMa always spoils them...sno-cones in souvenir cups, cotton candy & a Buzz Lightyear!
We have quite the collection of cups from Disney on Ice throughout the years!
