November Misc.

November is kind of a blur to me...I spent the majority of the time...like I would say probably 70% of the day/night in bed. Here are some random pictures that we took though!

Daddy went and had lunch with the kids one day! They always love it when we come for lunch.

I'd say that's pretty accurate!
Looks like Pony was getting a spa treatment!
Madison wrote this super sweet note to our children's pastor for Pastor's Appreciation this month.
Jonah's missing some teeth!
The day we told the kids about the baby, the girls started making name lists! I have a feeling we are going to have a LOT of help naming this baby!!
Dress like a turkey night at church!
I would never make it without my mom! =0) She came up to help me do Thanksgiving cookies & she was a HUGE help...after we got past this little speedbump! LOL! I told her if I weren't so sick and desperate, I would fire her! =0)))
Look who managed to get out of bed and even put a smile on her face for hair appt day & shopping! I think I was taking these pictures to prove to myself that I WILL survive this...I know that I was definitely faking these smiles at this point.
Snapchat makes everything better...
I went to Tee for the Soul to try to find something to wear for our family pictures and I found a few cute new tops.
Trying to plan for family pictures...at 8:00 PM the night before we were taking pictures...ugh!! Somehow we made it work okay!
I ran into Wax-Mart and found these chalkboard signs & literally wrote on them 30 minutes before we left for our photo session with Kourtney. Procrastinate, much!!
Such a big boy, getting himself dressed and ready on his own every morning now! Sometimes he needs a little help lining the buttons up, but other than that he does great.
When G-Ma spends the night and takes you to school, you get donuts! =0) (This was when Brian was in Kansas City & I was super sick and needed help!)
Madison spent the night with Lizzy after the Fall Festival & then G-Ma picked her up and she got to spend the night with her! This was a BIG deal to just have one-on-one time with G-Ma! They went shopping at the mall, mostly to look for Christmas ideas.
Loving life in 1st grade!
Kelly sent me this picture from school one day when they were practicing for the Christmas program.
I was completely impressed with Jonah's Veteran's Day picture...bubble letters and all!

CHA Fall Festival

The Fall Festival is a big deal at CHA! This year, of all years, I signed up to help as a Homeroom Mom for Jonah's class, which meant helping with their booth at Fall Festival. We decided to do a cool whip toss game, which ended up being a lot of fun but a complete mess! The kids had a fun time flinging cool whip on their coaches and teachers! I can't even express how stressed out I was the day of the Fall Festival...mostly because I was so sick and had to somehow still function and take care of my responsibilities, while faking how I felt. Also, Brian was out of town this week and wasn't able to help me with anything. My saving grace was that G-Ma came to help me with the kids and she even stayed at the fall festival with them and let me come home early. I went ahead and told her that I was pregnant a few days before this, because I really needed her help while Brian was gone and I knew I couldn't hide it from her. In fact, when I told her over the phone, I was still laying in the bathroom floor, having just thrown up. Did I mention it was a really rough week?! Ha! Anyway, the kids were oblivious and had a great time at the Fall Festival...stuffed animals were won and they had fun running around with their friends! Madison was especially excited because she got to go home with Lizzie to spend the night after the Fall Festival.
A few weeks before Fall Festival, I took pics of Jonah's class with cool whip smeared on their faces, to display as part of our booth! Rachael Parrish made the cutest signs..."Mrs. Crabb's Cool Kids!" How fun!!
Jonah with his friends, Owen & Brightson:
Mackenzie with her friends, Shelby & Jordan:
Madison with her friends Olivia & Averi:
Love these friends!
My response to him was just pure honesty. I really did hurt all over, I was so nauseous.
This was at the beginning of the night, after only just a few kids had played our game...Kelly sent me some pictures later in the night and it was really disgusting!
G-Ma and Rex were on Jonah & Owen duty most of the evening! =0)

This Too Shall Pass.

The first few weeks of November were especially rough...I was very, very sick and really just overwhelmed and filled with anxiety over being pregnant. I felt like the rug had been pulled out from under me and I couldn't catch my breath. Life just really felt so heavy...the fact that I was only 6 weeks pregnant and already so sick, with what felt like no end in sight, while trying to keep up with 3 very busy kids was so heavy.
For as long as I can remember, my Momma has used the phrase "This too shall pass..." when something is hard. It brings me great peace, because I know it is true...hard things aren't hard forever. Joy comes in the morning! So for now I am just praying that God will give me the energy and ability to make it through one day...one hour...one minute at a time.
Because I know that as the quote below says, "There are people who would love to have my bad days." #perspective
I had to include this picture of Jonah from 4 years ago that came up on my TimeHop this week...I remember taking it like it was yesterday. I was pregnant at that time, with the baby we lost, and extremely sick then too...his sweet little cuddles helped me through that time!
Well he's still cuddling with me & helping me through morning sickness this go-around too!
Okay...if you say so?!
Yes, yes they are!!
Ordered me some puke bags on amazon...so far I haven't had to actually use one, but its good to know I have one tucked in my purse when I'm out and about.
This is my "you CAN do this" face.
Oh, man...I miss that flat tummy! (I'm almost 8 months pregnant as I'm sitting here looking at this picture and it almost makes me cry...) One of these days, it'll come back...I surely hope!
A perfect picture of exactly how I felt...sick...
And this is so true for my life right now...I feel like I'm failing in so many ways...but I know this is just a season and I am doing the best that I can.

Basketball All Star: Madison

So all 3 kids are playing basketball this year...in three different leagues...Madison is playing through Destiny again, Mackenzie is playing school ball at CHA, and Jonah is playing through the YMCA. It makes me laugh! It's a good thing they all got signed up before I found out I was pregnant...I'm not sure we would have taken all of that on if we would've known beforehand. =0)
Madison wasn't sure she wanted to play at first, but as it got closer, she changed her mind and decided to play. I'm so glad she did! I know she just gets nervous before games...I can totally relate...but I really want her to stick with it! Her practices started first, and they are on Tuesdays after school. Not quite as convenient as last year when they were able to just practice during P.E., but that's okay. Her season is really long...it goes from the first weekend in November until nearly the end of February.
Here are a few pics and videos of her Nov & Dec games. I was super sick at all of these and barely even there, so I didn't get many pics. It was a great start to the season for Madison...we just have to get her to be a little more aggressive!
Nov 16th Game:
How sweet is this?! Jonah made this sign and taped it onto his dixie stampede flag so he could hold it up at the game, to cheer his big sister on!
We love our fan club!!
Dec 7 Game:
