April Misc

The month of April passed by in a whirl! With Easter, getting ready for DC, being gone to DC for 8 days, and Brian's FC meetings all across the state, (just to name some of it), we stayed BUSY!!

I went with Brian to Tulsa for a night and got to go to the Owasso FC meeting. We ate at Andolini's before the mtg and it was yummy! Brian was gone almost every evening during the first few weeks of April. He is so good to spend time with the kids, even if it means going to see them at lunchtime, since he was getting home after they were already asleep.
Shopping for D.C.!
Oh TimeHop!!
One year ago we were in Hawaii, living the dream in paradise! I can't wait to go back!
Mackenzie was invited to Abigail's 13th birthday party sleepover at a hotel in Brocktown. They ate pizza, went to watch the new Dumbo movie & stayed up half the night having fun! I'm so thankful she has found a group of sweet friends at CHA! Abigail's mom sent some pictures to me!
When Mack's at a sleepover and Daddy is working, we load up and go to the donut shop for breakfast!
We went to Taziki's for dinner & ran into our friends, the Emerson's there. It was the 1 year anniversary of Taziki's so they had face painting and balloon animals for the kids!
Incredi-Girl!
Cutest tiger ever!
Wonder Woman!
Precious Madi!!
We currently have an ant situation...and I'm about to lose my mind over it!
I really have no idea how she can stand to sleep with all of this stuff surrounding her! It makes me feel claustrophobic just looking at it!
My face when I leave the kids at home and tell Mackenzie to keep her iPad handy in case I call to check on them, and she doesn't answer when I call...
Time for class!
Oh yeah, I did a lot of Easter cookies in April too!
Getting your hair done at the salon is just fun!
The reality of what my kitchen looks like most of the time...
Note to self: If you bring home pizza from Little Caesars and want to put it on warm in the oven until dinner, just make sure you hit the "Bake" button, not the "Broil" button. Oops! #almostatragedy
Hahaha!! Connie and I got a good laugh out of this!
Jonah and Daddy killed some time in a bookstore one day while the girls and I ran into the mall.

Spring School Pics

Here are the kids' spring school pictures! Since their fall pics were so good & I bought those, I passed on buying these this time. (It's expensive to purchase 3 sets of school pics!) But of course I had to take a picture of their pictures!! Everybody does that, right?! Not just me?! Oh, well...whatever! =0)))
1. Jonah desperately needed a haircut. That smile is the best though!
2. Madison looks beautiful but not sure about this background.
3. Mackenzie looks beautiful but sleepy!

CHA Glow Run

On Friday night, the school had a Glow Run at the football field to raise money for new playground equipment. Each of the kids had pledges and got to run a lap with their classmates. Their favorite part of the night was getting to spray Mrs. Low with silly string, I think! It was a fun evening & I left feeling such gratitude that we are a part of the CHA community.
The Three Amigos!
(Mackenzie was too cool & busy with her friends for me to take any more pics of her!)
Mrs. Garner was ready to run with her busy bees!
Madison's turn!

Moms Chapel

Moms Chapel was today at school and it was such a sweet morning with my babies! I am so very thankful that we came to CHA while Mackenzie was still in Elementary, so we would have this one year of all three of them getting to do things like this together! Really, so sweet and special! I love the cards that each of the kids made for me...the things they wrote all matched their personalities so well. How I love them!!
When I got to the school and got out of my van, I thought I heard a hissing sound, but I didn't think much of it. Until Mrs. Low announced that there was a black minivan with a flat tire in the parking lot. Uh-Oh! As soon as Moms Chapel was over and the kids went back to class, I went to check it out & sure enough...the flat tire was mine! Brian came to my rescue and thankfully we got it patched up very quickly!

Madison thought it was fun that we had on matching shoes!
Jonah was looking handsome as ever in his sports coat! He's about to outgrow it & I am so sad!
