On the first Sunday in February, we woke up and got ready for church and realized as we were about to walk out the door that it was snowing like crazy! Being the good mom that I am, I let the girls wear these dresses and SANDALS to church...in defense of myself, they conned me into it before I realized it was going to snow inches while we were at church! We were already running late and it was a battle I just didn't want to face, so off we went, sandals and all! By the time we made it to the church, everything was covered in snow. Thankfully, Brian was able to come out and help get the kids in and park the van for me. He even carried the girls in so their feet wouldn't get wet! People probably thought I was crazy for letting them dress like that, but oh well! The girls were very excited about the snow and sang Christmas songs all the way to the church. Oh well that it is February...snow = the feeling of Christmas, regardless of when it comes! It was a cozy morning at church. We had a Belize mission lunch after church, and there was a great turn-out despite the weather. While Jonah and Madison were still in extended care at church, I went to Wal-Mart to buy groceries with the Perona's during the second service. I was so thankful for that, because we didn't have anything at home...I was totally unprepared and caught off guard by this sudden snowstorm! Apparently half of Tulsa was caught off guard because they were all at Wal-Mart too! CRAZY! I love being snowed in...eating lots of junk food, cuddling up and watching movies, playing games, baking cookies, just being together...it's wonderful!

Jonah was checking out the big snowflakes!
He looks like such a big boy in these pic's!
Mackenzie loves helping set up and clean up for youth mission lunches!
