After Iwo Jima, we wrapped up our time in DC with a visit to Arlington National Cemetery, and a very quick stop back in the Capitol to use our Senate passes that we got the day before. We had just a little extra time before heading to the airport, so we figured...why not! What a wonderful week in DC with my mom! I know we will always cherish these memories.
Going home more proud than ever to be an American! Wrapping up the trip at Arlington is always a reality check and a good reminder...
