February Misc

The month of February was extra busy this year, with a snowstorm, our trip to Florida, Mackenzie's Little Women production, Big Weekend for the girls, Brian going to Belize to set up a GoStudents trip, another ice storm, getting our taxes ready (insert crazy face emoji here) and our normal every-day school stuff. It literally flew by! And this saying in the pic above...I've never seen anything that more accurately describes my life. Lol! 

We started the month with a snowstorm on Feb 2-3-4. Jack and I had lunch at Torchy's with Kayla the day before & we went to Trader Joe's for the first time ever! I will definitely have to start shopping there more often.

I try to keep this mindset when I get overwhelmed by the constant mess that our house is...

I had my suitcase out to pack for Florida & Jack climbed right in! He doesn't get to go this time!

Hilarious! This boy needs a chair his own size! He will sit in ANY chair, regardless of the size. If it's a chair, its for sitting in his mind! Lol!

Headed to spend 5 nights with GMa!!!

I was so sad to miss Mothers Chapel with Jonah while I was gone to Florida. =0( GMa is the best though & I know he was happy that she was there!

Jack was living his best life, playing in the treehouse in his pj's!

I was playing in the treehouse with Jack and this was on the white board in there. Madi and Emma wrote this, I think. So funny...write a paragraph on boyfriend...hahaha!

My grocery helper was ready for a nap! (It takes a lot of food to feed 4 growing kids!)

While we were home dealing with an ice storm, Brian went to Belize to set up the GoStudents trip for this summer.

They got to be on a radio show in Belize.

We got to spend a few days at GMa's house during an ice storm towards the end of February. It was fun to be iced in there with her, especially on her birthday! Brian was in Belize, so it worked out great!

"Happy Birthday Mom! We love you so very much! You make the world a better place, in every way possible! So happy we could be with you today! Also--I'm really glad I didn't run over you while trying to back out of your ice rink of a driveway on your birthday!"

Mack practicing for Little Women one day after school...I stayed pretty much every day the week leading up to the performance. Little Women pretty much consumed much of our life during January and February, but it was worth every second!
