20. YEARS.

I'm pretty sure we aren't old enough to be married for 20 years, but here we are...I guess that's what happens when you are only 19 when you get married! If the last few years have taught us anything, its that life doesn't always go according to plan! We were supposed to be celebrating our 20th anniversary in NYC, but the trip was cancelled (thanks Covid) a few days before we were going to leave. Boo! Since GMa was already planning to have the kids, they went ahead and stayed with her for a few nights while we just enjoyed some quiet time at home. On our actual anniversary, we took Jack out to spend a day with GMa too. We went to lunch at Vast, in the top of the Devon tower. After lunch, we walked over to the Renaissance Hotel where we stayed on our wedding night. It was so much fun to go in there...it hasn't changed very much even after all these years. We found the exact room that we stayed in & got to peek inside, while it was being cleaned. =0)
It wasn't NYC, but it was still a fun day together!

Marriage isn't always easy...in fact, its been a bit of a rough season for us...but
You're still the One, Brian! Always.

Our FB posts to each other! =0)))

Candace Baldwin and I are celebrating our 20-year wedding anniversary today!!! It’s certainly a milestone just as important as the 10 year anniversary, but perhaps even TWICE as important! See what I did there 😉 haha. We had lunch on top of the Devon tower at Vast today, saw the hotel we stayed at on our wedding night and decided to walk over for a trip through memory lane. Lots of good times with my sweet lady! She’s just as pretty now! Thankful to the Lord for her so much! I hope that this year brings us many more stories to remember. Here’s to us being together for decades and decades. Ah… did it again 😃 haha. Love you!

Brian Baldwin I remember the day I found the “check yes or no” note in my locker & the first time we talked on the phone, with the help of a friend because we were both so shy. I remember holding (sweaty) hands for the first time walking around your neighborhood the summer before 9th grade & our first kiss underneath that tree… ☺️ I remember breaking up for one whole day & quickly realizing that I didn’t want to ever be apart from you! I remember falling in love with you as a teenage girl, knowing that even though the odds were against our relationship lasting because we were so young, you were the one God had for me. 20 years ago today, I remember walking down the aisle barefoot & standing in front of 400 of our closest family and friends and promising to love you forever. Over the past 20 years, we have experienced sickness and health, richer and poorer, for better or worse…thank you for loving and leading our family so well, in every season. I love the beautiful life that we share, and I love YOU…more than yesterday & less than tomorrow. I thank God for you every day! Happy Anniversary! And also…How did we get this old?!
The food was great!

This is where we ate breakfast the day after our wedding!
