Getting Geared Up For School

The few weeks leading up to the start of school is always a very busy time. Settling back in at home after FC, buying school supplies, (endless) shopping for school clothes, setting up notebooks, decorating lockers, starting cheer practice...the list goes on and on. I always think to myself that I'm not going to procrastinate so much next year, but somehow...it's like this every single year! But it's okay...somehow, everything always gets done. =0)
We had to make a few trips to the school so that Madison could practice opening her locker. She was very nervous about this, but I just kept telling her she would get the hang of it and it would be no big deal after a week or so. (And I was right!)
I can't believe we are getting ready to have a 3rd, 7th and 9th grader!!
GMa is awesome! She helps with some of our school supplies, which we appreciate so much!
Trying to find dresses for school is sometimes a challenge. I love this one!
Locker Set-Up Day One:
We learned when Mackenzie started 7th grade that waiting until the welcome back blue cru day to decorate your locker was a very bad plan. It is much more fun and way less stressful to go when no one else is there!
Let's not even talk about how much $ we spent on locker decor.
Cutie!!
Mackenzie's locker was very cute too! It looks like a High School locker...waahhhh!!
This girl can shop! If she tries on 10 things, she loves 9 of them (maybe all 10). If Mackenzie tries on 10 things, she may like 1 of them. No joke!
Jonah is so easy to please, compared to the girls. I don't know if that's just a boy thing, or if its just his laid back personality, but I LOVE IT!
No, I will not buy you sweatshirts and jackets for back to school clothes when it is 100* outside. But I will take pics so we can remember these things for your birthday in October! Mack is hard to shop for, because she's super picky...while Madi was at cheer practice, I took Mack to Target and Marshall's and we found several cute things! Yea!
