Jack went on his first real outing this week, to the Falls Creek Roadshow in Yukon. I was so excited to get out of the house with him, and show him off a little, but also really nervous about it. The whole covid situation causes such uncertainty and fear, especially with a new baby. I just kept him in the stroller for the most part, and we kept our distance from people.
I forgot how much stuff it takes & how much extra time it takes, to go anywhere with a baby!
Madison was at Lizzy's birthday party & then she spent the night with G-Ma, so she wasn't with us. Mackenzie and Jonah were really excited to go to the FC Roadshow & Mackenzie even won the One Arm, Two Arm game that Todd did at the beginning. =0) It still feels so weird to not be at camp this summer...we will be so excited for camp next summer! Jack did really well while we were there. I did have to feed him and several youth pastors walked in on us...it was funny...I was completely covered & it embarrassed them way more than it did me! When we left, Jack started crying (he doesn't like the carseat at all) so much that I had to pull into Sonic to feed him.
It was good for me to get out and experience what Brian has been doing at the roadshows!
Go Mackenzie!!
I took Jack's earphones, but it wasn't really loud enough to need them & he wasn't a fan of them at all!
I love Jonah's "Bible journal!"
A boy's gotta eat, right?! I mean, if everyone else is getting to eat at Sonic, Jack should get to eat too!
