The day before school let out for Christmas Break, the 1st graders took a field trip to three nursing homes to sing Christmas carols and share some Christmas cheer with the residents living there. It really was the sweetest thing & I'm so glad Brian and I were able to go. They sang Away in the Manger, Jingle Bells, Glorious Night and We Wish You a Merry Christmas! Jonah's hair was looking especially tall and spiky on this day! =0) The kids were all VERY excited because they got to ride on a school bus...that's a big deal when you are in 1st grade at a private school, where riding the bus every day isn't an option. It was a real treat for them!
