The GA Sleepover fell on Mackenzie's birthday this year, which she was SO excited about! And, this was Madison's 1st year to be old enough for the GA Sleepover, so there was excitement all around! (Well, I'm smiling in the picture above, but I was not exactly excited about this...I was freaking out on the inside over the fact that I had just found out I was pregnant and Brian was still in Guatemala and didn't know!) I took cupcakes and everyone sang Happy Birthday to Mackenzie. She made sure to write on her nametag that it was her birthday, so everyone would know! I really was totally overwhelmed by life, the fact that we had soccer games the next morning, and I had to get ready for Mackenzie's family birthday party the day after that...I had a hard time enjoying myself, but the girls had fun! We ate pizza and all kinds of snacks, played games, the girls did a talent show, and there was all kinds of nail painting and hair fixing happening! G-Ma stayed at the house with Jonah, and since I slept a grand total of about 3 hours, she came and picked the girls up for Mackenzie's early morning soccer game and I went home and slept! Thank goodness for that!
You knew Pony wouldn't miss out on the sleepover!
Mackenzie was excited to take her new "phone!"
She looks WAY too grown up here! =0(
This is Mackenzie's registration form that she wanted to fill out herself!
How I really felt about "sleeping" on the floor in fellowship hall with 40 girls...
I was planning to make cupcakes, but when my world was turned upside down Wednesday, I decided to simplify as much as I could...Mackenzie was elated to get to buy them at Wal-Mart, no joke!
I love how Madison made her way right up front, to stand by her big sister!
Sweetest friends ever!
I love this picture! Madison and Madison Perona were the only two 1st graders at the sleepover this year. Maybe next year some more of her friends will be able to go.
This game was so funny to watch! And hard to do...trust me, I tried it myself...thank goodness no one video'd that!
I don't remember who did this, but it was one of the girls, and I was totally impressed!
Talent show time! I couldn't believe Madison got up there!
My favorite part of the night, FOR SURE! I love my friend!
And, this is how I felt/looked Saturday morning when I crashed in my bed...I was rethinking my decision to stay all night at the sleepover!
