We went to the Newcastle Public Library twice during our week at G-Ma's house. The first day, the kids got to read to a therapy dog while we were there, and of course they loved that! They looked so cute sitting there by that dog! Mackenzie & Madison both read, and then the lady who brought the dog read a book that Jonah picked out. The girls love playing on the computers and Jonah would spend hours playing at the train table. We checked out more movies than books, but that's okay, right?! At least we're AT the library! On Thursday, we went back so Mackenzie could do a painting class. Madison wasn't quite old enough, but she didn't seem to mind. Mackenzie painted a beach scene and it was very good. Every time we visit the library with G-Ma, I say I'm going to start going to our local library, and we never do...this time, I'm determined!
Who knows, maybe she really will be an artist fashionista in Paris someday!
(Only if I can live in Paris too!)
