While we were at the lake over 4th of July weekend, one of the highlights was feeding the ducks. Grandma and Grandpa have managed to raise the ducks they got the kids for Easter and they still keep them in a pen by the house. Mackenzie was so excited to see "her" duck, Sweetie, again! They all look the same to me, but apparently she can tell them apart and recognizes Sweetie every time she sees her. These ducks had to be completely stuffed by the time all of these kids got done feeding them nearly an entire loaf of bread!
Here is Mackenzie holding Sweetie...I love the look on her face! It's kinda like "I can't believe I'm really doing this!!!"
I love these pictures of the girls. They are too stinkin' cute! Each in their own way...I love how God made them so different, yet very much alike in some ways too.
Mackenzie: 6 years and 9 months old
Madison: 4 years and 4 months old
She was trying to convince Sweetie to come back over on the other side of the fence.
The ducks really are pretty! I'm just glad they live at the lake and not at our house!
Yea Grandma & Grandpa!
The kids walked the ducks down to the pond so they could go for a swim. It's funny...when they were done, they just waddled right back up to their pen! They're smart...they know where the food is!
Cutest. Bathing Suit. EVER.
Jonah wanted to catch him a duck!
