Build-a-Bear Workshop

While Jamie and the kids were visiting, the girls all ganged up on us and talked us into going to Build-a-Bear.  I am such a wimp...I probably should have just said NO, but I would have absolutely loved this as a kid, and it's such a fun memory maker...so off we went! We did this one other time when Taylor was visiting a few years ago, and they haven't forgotten it and think that we should do it every time we are together. I have officially decided that going to Build-a-Bear is like a once every 3 years kind of thing. It gets ridiculously expensive...because you can't just buy the bear...it needs clothes, shoes, accessories...why didn't I come up with this idea? I could be rich! Mackenzie's bear is named Bella and Madison's princess bear is named Sweetie! There are a ton of pictures of this...I just get carried away and then don't know which ones to delete...so here they all are!
Look at this cool kid!
I didn't think they would ever choose which bear they wanted...it's such a big decision!
This is what Jonah looked like during the whole Build-a-Bear experience...he didn't care anything about a bunch of stuffed animals!
These girls do love their stuffed animals! They play with them and dress them up more than they do baby dolls or Barbies. I can't even count how many stuffed animals we have at our house...too many, I know that much!
Bath time!
And last, picking a name and entering all of the information for the birth certificate.
Mackenzie was determined she could do it by herself!
Such good Daddy's!
Here are the outfits they ended up with...I tried to talk them into 4th of July outfits, and Madison went with it...
Mackenzie, on the other hand, picked out this fancy dress and high heels. Was I surprised? Not even a little bit. She wasn't about to follow my advice...I have already figured out that reverse psychology is the way to go with her! She has a mind all of her own... I actually love what she picked because it screams MACKENZIE!
I love this girl! Taylor was just born when we moved into the "White House" so we have literally watched her grow up. She is beautiful, inside and out!
