Because we stay so busy in the summer, we don't get to spend much time at the lake. This was one of the few days this whole summer that we got to spend there. We were on the boat for several hours...partly because we were looking for Danny's "mystery island" that I'm not sure we ever found! It was a fun adventure and the girls loved tubing and swimming in the lake! Mackenzie was so much braver than last year about going on the tube. Madison liked it too, but only wanted to ride with Daddy! We went over to a beach area and played in the water and had a picnic lunch. Jonah took a nap or two on the boat and loved splashing in the water. He looked so cute and like such a big boy in Cole's old Spiderman life jacket. These are such fun times that we will always look back on and smile about!

Love this happy face! This was the day before her ear infection got so bad. She went from just fine to feeling terrible very quickly. =0(
Brian was feeding Jonah some cantaloupe and he bit the fire out of Brian's finger!
All three kids sacked out before we got back!
