Labor Day at the Zoo

We went to the Tulsa Zoo on Labor Day, with Grandma & Grandpa Baldwin & the rest of the family, except Stephen and Tamara. =0( Also, I think half of the people that live in Tulsa were there too...it was C-R-A-Z-Y! The line of cars just to get in was ridiculous. However, we did have a fun time & I'm glad we did it. Mackenzie & Madison always love seeing their cousins. It was so funny when we first got to the zoo, there were tons of people in line to get in, and Mackenzie starts screaming, "Sea Turtles! Mommy, I see Sea Turtles!" She was very excited about the "sea turtles." Grandma Baldwin fixed a yummy picnic of fried chicken & pb&j for the kids...oh, and brownies with icing...can't forget those! We were glad G-Ma was there to go with us too. Madison loved the animals, and wanted to pet them all...even the bear & lion! She especially loved the monkeys...G-Ma sat her down right in front of the glass, and a little monkey came right over to her and looked right at her. I missed it, but G-Ma said it was really cute & Madison kept asking to go back to the monkeys after that. Mack & Bailey were inseperable the whole time, of course. We were going to ride the train or the carousel, but we just ran out of time and there were just too many people. Poor Madison...she kept saying "Choo-Choo," over and over. We assured her that we would come back to the zoo another time to ride the train! This was a fun day with the family, but the zoo was too crowded for me!Check out that leg pose!I know Grandma & Grandpa enjoyed spending time with all of their Grandkids! What a studly Daddy!
Madison: "I Pet!" (the lion)...uh, no!Love this picture of Mackenzie & her oldest cousin, Kala. Such pretty girls!It was pretty warm outside, but Madison kept insisting on wearing her jacket...and she wanted it completely buttoned up. Silly girl!While the guys went out to get the picnic stuff, we stayed at the playground and let the kids play. The stroller came in handy for more than pushing around kids on this day! Aren't they cute?!Madison LOVED playing on this little thing! (She needed her bangs cut!)Picnic time! We found a table that had this miniature little table for the girls to sit at & they loved it. Noone else was paying attention, but this is a cute picture of Madison! Madison & Jason are pals!
