We went to the first Jenks Football game of the season, in Bixby on Friday night. We have several students in the Band, and all 3 of the Drum Majors this year are our kids...Heather, Susan & Jake. How cool is that?! It was fun to watch them. Mackenzie & Madison were so happy to see Kari & Lexi, and of course the first thing they wanted was lip gloss from Kari. The highlight of the night for them though, was the Chick-fil-a cows...they were everywhere! At first Madison was afraid of them, but then she decided they were okay and kept waving at them. Mackenzie's favorite was the girl cow with the bow in her "hair." When she saw her, she said, "Mommy, take my picture with her!" Mackenzie was also very excited to see Curtis playing in the band. We just stayed for the first quarter & then went to Braum's for ice cream. It was a fun night together!
