Here we are, already at Senior Night for our girl! Can't believe it!
This Senior thing is so brutal...and so fun...and heartbreaking...and exciting...and SAD...and happy..."bittersweet" about sums it up, I guess!
What a joy it has been to watch Mackenzie cheer these past 3 years! It really has changed her entire High School experience, in the best possible way.
I helped Chevas and Vicki set up most of the day, and when I walked into the lobby and saw the table set up with her pictures, I literally burst into uncontrollable tears. That was good though--I got it all out of my system before everything actually began.
It was a beautiful night, celebrating our girl and her cheer friends!
I got to make cookies for each of the Seniors...it hits different when it's your own child's name on the cookie!
Jack will be the class of 2039! Oh, wow! As far off as that seems now, I know it is going to go fast too...
Can't imagine her not being on the sidelines next year...I am going to miss this bright smile so much!
Mackenzie (all Seniors who wanted to) got to be a flyer during halftime, so that was fun!
So thankful for this sweet group of girls!
Future roomies!!
I feel like the correct cheer caption for this picture is :
"Slay, queen!"
