Elementary Performance

This year's play was called "Lost in Tumblerock" and Mackenzie had the lead female role of Rosaline. We had never heard of this play before, and I am honestly still baffled by this choice...but it was cute. I definitely wish Mackenzie would have had the opportunity to have the lead in a Musical for her Senior year, but that's okay. It made me that much more thankful for Anastasia! This role was different than anything she's ever done, for sure. She had a ton of lines to memorize and of course she did a great job! The Elementary performance was Friday morning, and the kids really enjoyed it. Jack was so excited and proud that his big sister was in it! After the show, the cast went around to classrooms to talk to the kids. Hopefully someday Mackenzie will be coming back to CHA to watch Jonah and Jack in the school plays! And maybe even Madi! =0) The school play/musical has been such a huge part of Secondary for Mackenzie, ever since 7th grade. It was definitely bittersweet, knowing this was her last performance at CHA.
Ma Hartwell & Rosaline
Mackenzie spent most of the first act disguised as a cowboy. One of many things that made me go "hmm...¯\_(ツ)_/¯ "
Visiting Jack's class...he was so proud!
Jonah was proud too! =0)
