First, let me say--Mackenzie is an excellent driver and we have complete confidence in her. Obviously, or we wouldn't be having her drive everyone to school in the mornings! But...It is a SCARY feeling to put all of our babies in the car with a teenage driver. Especially with a 25-30 minute drive to school on I-35/I-40. But, we know that she is ready and capable of handling this responsibility! I pretty much sit and watch them on Find my Friends the entire time, praying that God will keep them safe, and nearly holding my breath until I see that they've made it to school. This is definitely next-level trusting Jesus and is really stretching me!
