It's kind of become tradition for the kids to spend the night with GMa on New Years Eve. This is a win for everyone! Brian and I went out for an early dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse & then picked up Crumbl cookies for dessert on our way home. We thought about going downtown or something, but we are officially old and just wanted to lay on the couch and binge watch our latest show. (Yellowstone) We Facetime'd with GMa and the kids at midnight. Jack was still going strong! (He was a BEAR the next day though.) He was a big fan of the Happy New Year headbands GMa got for them to wear. We slept in the next morning & then went out to GMa's house for lunch...gotta have black-eyed peas for the new year! I can't believe that it is 2022. The fact that we graduated 22 years ago makes me feel OLD!
2021 was a really good year...praying that 2022 is even better!
The weather from 2021 to 2022 took a big turn...
Madi made this CLUE game with her little squishy animals...her attention to detail and thoroughness is impressive, for sure!
