We spent the weekend before 4th of July in Newcastle, since dad was in the hospital. We drove down on Friday, the day after Mack's tonsil surgery, and stayed until Monday afternoon. Brian had to go back to Tulsa for church on Sunday morning, but he came back to Newcastle right after that. We got to go to the 4th of July celebration at WHBC and it was a lot of fun to see old friends. (It was also H-O-T!) Afterwards, we stopped by the house & gave the girls baths & then headed over to Norman to watch the fireworks at Riverwind. We parked along the side of the road & sat in the back of our car. It was so much fun! The girls both loved the fireworks, although Madison wasn't too sure about it at first. We were just glad Daddy was here to watch the fireworks with us this year & not gone on a youth trip!

Here are some video's of the girls dancing and playing in the Lobby of the hospital on Sunday morning. They bring such joy in the midst of sadness and sorrow. Pa wasn't having a very good day, and it is very hard for the girls to be still and quiet for long, so we spent some time burning off energy in the waiting room. This was July 3rd, so we were all feeling a little patriotic...thus, the wonderful music from the highly talented G-Ma! (We were the only ones in there for the most part, and when a couple of people came to sit down, they didn't stay for long!) =0) Mackenzie is saying that she doesn't want to take dance anymore, and I am kinda sad about it...especially after watching these video's!
